Categories
To ensure fairness and clarity, participants must choose the category that best reflects their current dance level and experience. Judges reserve the right to reassign dancers to a different category if they believe it better reflects the dancer’s level.
The descriptions below serve as guidelines. Not every dancer will match every point exactly, and categories are determined based on overall level, consistency, and experience rather than individual criteria alone.
Professional
Approach

Actively engaged in dance beyond personal hobby.

Contributing to or influencing the dance community.

Teaching Hustle or other dance styles.

Earning income from dancing (teaching, performing, judging, etc.).
Skills

Reliable timing & clear connection.

High-level dance content and technical execution.

Good presentation and confident stage presence.

Strong musicality and ability to interpret music.

Ability to adapt quickly to different partners and situations.
-
Comfortable dancing at tempos up to 125 BPM without difficulty.
Amateur
-
Dance is a hobby and a source of joy.
-
Not teaching dance.

Not earning money from dance activities.

Dancing without responsibility for teaching, or actively influencing the dance community.
Roles

Participants register either as Leader or Follower.
-
Gender does not matter; dancers may choose the role they prefer.

Role switching during the competition is not allowed. Dancers must remain in their registered role for the entire competition.
Music

Music will vary within a tempo range of 105–125 BPM.

The selection will support improvisation, musicality, and social dancing skills.

Judges evaluate overall dancing quality rather than isolated elements.
Format
Amateur and Professional categories will alternate (e.g., Am Preselection → Pro Preselection → Am Round → Pro Round, etc.). Both categories follow the same format.
How to enter

Register online via the official registration form.

Complete registration until 1 April 2026.

Participation is free of charge.
Preselection

Duration: 10 minutes per category.

Each category dances separately.

All skate (all couples dance simultaneously).

Leaders and followers are randomly paired.
-
Partners rotate every 90 seconds.

Judges evaluate dancers individually.
Judges select: Top 8 leaders & top 8 followers.
1st Round

Duration: 2 minutes per category.

Top 8 leaders and Top 8 followers are randomly paired.
-
All couples dance simultaneously (All Skate).
-
Judging is based on couple performance.
Judges select: Top 4 couples.
2nd Round
-
Same format as the First Round.

Partners are randomly switched again.
Judges select: Top 2 couples.
Final Round

Partners are randomly switched again.

Each couple performs a 90-second spotlight dance.
