About
This 7toSmoke welcomes dancers of all experience levels who want to compete as a dedicated partnership. Couples register together and are judged as a unit rather than as individual dancers.
Rules

Participants compete with the same partner throughout the entire event.

Leaders and followers may switch roles.
Music

Music will vary within a tempo range of 105–125 BPM.

Judges evaluate overall dancing quality rather than isolated elements.
Format
How to enter

Register online via the official registration form.

Complete registration until 1 April 2026.

Participation is free of charge.
Preselection
-
Duration: 10 minutes.

All registered couples dance simultaneously (All Skate).

Judges evaluate couples as a unit.
Judges select 8 couples.
Battle
-
Couples will draw for the initial order.
-
One battle round consists of 2 entries (each couple performs once).
-
1 entry = maximum 60 seconds.
-
After both entries, judges point to the winning couple.

The winning couple remains on the floor.

The losing couple rotates out, and the next challenger enters.
The competition continues until:

One couple reaches 7 wins, OR
-
The 40-minute time limit is reached.
If the time limit is reached, the couple with the highest number of wins is declared the winner.
